Workspaces for Tomorrow is an architectural concept competition designed by Because Architecture Matters organization with the purpose of designing futuristic workspaces.
The idea of HEXAWORK came to our mind when we started researching today’s companies’ struggles. We found that there is a shift from big groups to small-scaled teams that collaborate together for a specific project and then separate once the project is done to collaborate with other teams on other projects. This shift in workflow creates a demand for a new type of office; offices that can be placed somewhere for a period of time and then dismantled to be rearranged in other places. Therefore, our design needs to be easy to assemble, dismantle, store, and relocate on demand.
Someone might ask: then why not just stick with the “work from home” concept and what value does HEXAWORK add to remote work?
We say that remote work doesn’t necessarily mean working from home. Many people find it difficult to sustain a good social life while working from home as they aren’t able to balance their personal and work life so HEXAWORK provides a remote work environment that is not only related to working from home but also can be placed at home to create a separate work environment in it.
